Both things can be true. Denver needed to move on and take the defense to the next level with Phillips. I don't believe the Broncos are in Super Bowl without Phillips, so moving on from Fox was right call. They made it DESPITE Kubiak, whose offense will sputter next year. But with Manning this was last window, good move.

The Bears needed a players coach, and a team representative, and a coaches coach that can assemble a staff and put a franchise plan in place and assble talent that fits a plan.

Getting Fangio was HUGE, but Fox was a great call to rebuild this franchise. He has the clout and experience to handle Cutler, he righted this ship exceptionally fast.

All the Bears need is Malik Jackson, ILB, safety, and a OG in free agency. Then draft BPA MLB, TE, CB, OLB, O-line

Resign Porter, Jenkins, Miller extensions and franchise Jeffery.

A blind man could steer this ship at this point.
