That exactly what it was back in July of last season. Bitter about losing his friends.
He has spent the entire ST talking up the kids and his desire to be here when they come up.

I am sure he also said how you have to play the games one at a time.

He is just going to go out and give it his best effort and the Good Lord willing, everything will work out.

If he really desired to be here when they come up, he has had ample opportunity to put his money where his mouth is.

He hasn't.

If the Cubs can get 10-15 quality starts from him, they will unload him. No doubt about it. I think he's to the point where if it happens it happens.
