the guy wont be ready to play until mid season at the earliest.
I'm glad you know more than every reporter that has talked to him about his rehab schedulethe guy wont be ready to play until mid season at the earliest.
Even better..... sign him to a 2 year deal incentive based dealthe guy wont be ready to play until mid season at the earliest.
I think we all know it's gonna be T.Jenkins playing LT and are just throwing out ideas that could be even better if the Bears could get one of these vets on a good deal, and getting any of the vet LT's we've been mentioning would absolutely be better than putting Jenkins at LT and Ifedi at RT.Hate to break it to you but all our o lineman for this year are on the roster already. Jenkins-Whitehair-Mustipher-Daniels-Ifedi with Bars, Wilkinson and Borom as backups, perhaps Simmons/Hambright in there as well.
Granted, I am not a world class athlete but I had minor Achilles surgery 9 years ago and I didn't feel "right" for probably 2 years post surgery. I'd be stunned if he was able to play before mid-season and even more surprised if he were able to play at a high level inside of a year after Achilles surgery.
You're discussing different injuries with different recovery timelinesIt usually takes 2 years to get back to FULL strength. Look at AROB but some players are freaks and comeback to full in just 1 season.
I’m expecting Cohen is going to have some problems this coming season. He definitely won’t be as quick till the 2022 season.

I do not think this would infringe on anyone's development as long as it were a one-year deal.Or you can let the guy play and develop.
i know he blew out his achilles in january, the colts are taking a big gamble. maybe he's ready to go week 1 and plays at a similar level, i'm highly skeptical. its not like the guy was an elite player prior to his injury either. top 12-15 tackle at best.I'm glad you know more than every reporter that has talked to him about his rehab schedule
