Curious why you say Odunze is not?
He's not a great route runner, and doesn't have great short area quickness. He's the kind who can win at the catch point in college, lots of back shoulders, that kind of thing. I don't think it will translate very well, at least early in his career.

Maybe true, but this article's claim is that those 2 players would have true 1st round grades regardless of year and circumstance. I don't quite agree. I see them as reallh late 1st to 2nd rd prospects who benefitted mightily from playing in prolific offenses and heisman QBs.
I disagree. They looks like studs and especially compared to last year‘s WR crop.

and the argument about “1st round talent regardless of the year “ is bogus imo. Draft value is always partially circumstantial and the “value” is always set by the market. QBs were the asset they use to be 60 years ago.

Like how many drafts would you be comparing to say “regardless of the year…” ?
