ESPN: Hawks have qualified Frolik, Campoli & Stalberg. No QO to Dowell.

you really liked Campoli that much? I just saw him as a role player aka fill-in. Not a difference maker IMO.

My God woman! DO NOT feed him biscuits for his ego. . .it's akin to feeding a Goonie after midnight.

Just a little bit of ribbing for StuG after the infamous "Scott rants" of the 2011 Playoffs...

With Campbell gone, the role Campoli can play becomes heightened, IMO.

Campbell - 26.8 shifts/gm - 22:58 TOI -

Since coming over...

Campoli - 25.4 shifts/gm - 20:07 TOI

The 2:51 per game will probably be picked up by Leddy - who averaged 14:18 per game....and Hjarlmarsson should see 20min per as well (currently was 18:28 per gm)

Campoli (18:56) played the exact same as Hjarlmarrson (18:55) in the playoffs. I think he's more than a "role" player, but will be probably slotted to play 18 per gm in the 4/5 role. In this system he should excel.

For the record - every player on the roster is a role player. Some just play bigger roles than others. But every player is slotted to play somewhere, and Campoli can play 20min per.

While I have no source for this, by them not qualifying Dowell doesn't necessarily mean he will not be back in the organization.

Like Hendry last year, Dowell could be re-signed at a cheap contract on July 1st. Perhaps they just didn't want to give him his raise, and want him to see that he will not be coveted in this market.

Although I honestly doubt this is the scenario that will play out, it is possible and doesn't mean that Dowell's tenure in Chicago is finished.

Spot on assessment Ton 'Sassone'. [ <--- there's your source]
