"There are some who have argued that Chicago Bears wide receiver Devin Hester should play the slot in Mike Martz's new offensive system. But judging by a new report from Neil Hayes of the Chicago Sun-Times, another spot could be a better fit.
According to Hayes, Hester has been working with former St. Louis Rams great Isaac Bruce in South Florida, and as of now it'd appear that Hester will play the "Z" position.
Hester acknowledges that learning more tricks of the trade from Bruce should help him reach the goal of being a legit No. 1 receiver. We've heard that about him in the past, too, but perhaps working with the veteran will make a difference this time around.
As ESPN's John Clayton sees it, the Bears' receivers -- although they have considerable potential -- are a jumbled bunch right now:"
