Darnell Wright was absolutely atrocious. Like you could put a filing cabinet out there and the DL would have to work harder to get around it. Somehow they actually GAIN MOMEMTUM when they go through him like he gives them star power or something.
First start. Not encouraging but Sewell didn’t hit the ground running either

This game felt a lot like the week 1 Trubisky lead loss to the Pack a few years ago.

Fields just isn't the guy. I've said it before as have many others but you slurpers just can't let it go and admit it.

He ain't it, he's worse than Trubisky.

He hasn’t progressed- Just like last season Fields looks downfield, but won’t pull the trigger.

Tucks and runs or hits the check - which he missed several of those-

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Bears
Absolutely puzzling gameplan and playcalling.

The shit playcalling is what stood out the most to me.

I sounded the alarm early in preseason when I was roasting Getsy for the screen that almost got Fields killed in Preseason and then again in the Colts practice, and idiots here told me I don't know what I am talking about.

I wish they were right, but looks like I am and Getsy is Nagy 2.0...

Fields was not the problem yesterday. Did you watch the game?

It's hard to even evaluate Fields' after a game like yesterday, because by the time he was asked to actually play QB, the Bears were already down multiple scores.

Let him actually play QB from the first snap of the game. I just don't understand the thinking of Getsy.

Yes the O-Line is terrible. But I am starting to think Fields just does not have what it takes as a passer. He has absolutely no anticipation on seeing the break and where the player is going to be in space before it happens. He has to literally see the guy open to throw it. It's way more evident than even with Cutler.
Holds the ball too long. Eyes fixed on main target most of the time. What he saw on that pick 6 is anyone's guess.

It is almost impossible to succeed with Braxton Jones and Darnell Wright as your tackles. I was saying this all off-season. You want to see what he's made of but you've done nothing to actually help him aside from give him a wide receiver he can't throw to.

I have a dim view of Justin Fields, and at the end of the day he looked exactly like he did his rookie year yesterday, but they did him no favors. They just expected the year three "jump" to happen ritually, like some sort of mystical thinking that it was their turn.

The thing is, you didn't even know it was a screen play until it was explained to you for like 6 pages.

Just like Trubisky, I was willing to give Fields time. Also like Trubisky, it’s pretty obvious he is not the guy. I 100% agree that the play calling and o-line were shit, but Fields also missed quite a few opportunities because he didnt process quick enough. He has had plenty of experience and unfortunately that skill set isnt there to be a franchise QB.
