I thought it was cool for the first year just because it was so different than the midwest, then the novelty wore off. Now I would much rather chill in a high country meadow than hang out on a beach

Lol. I'm a pasty guy from the north, where ocean beaches on either side are covered with boulders, and most sand beaches are on lakes.
