How much you wanna beat Dusty trots Chapman back out there if the Reds tie or get the lead?

Tigers missed an opportunity to blow the game wide open. I don't think their bullpen is that good.

It isn't. I am thinking Porcello gets into the game here in all honesty.

Looks like the only guys available are Hoover, LeCure and Simon. Maybe Dusty goes with one of his starters on their side session-ish day. Chapman may go another.

Benoit is in the game. I guess Leyland is going to do this traditionally. I thought with Valverde struggling you might see something creative.

Is it me just being vindictive when I see this being the night that Dusty plants the seeds to blow Chapman's arm up.

Hernadez has made some nice calls in the inning so far behind the plate.

Nice defensive play by the Tigers all the way around.

Benoit gets a K. I guess Dusty is going to take Chapman out.

Considering how many pitches he threw and how wild he was you can't blame any manager for taking him out.

I would think any manager would, but we are talking about Dusty. The guy who had a starter (Harang) throw a few innings in an extra inning game and then on normal rest had him start and throw well over 100 pitches. Harang has just now started to throw as hard as he did prior to that.

Benoit continues to be a very good setup man.

Miguel Cairo is not Scott Rolen at 3B.

Some nasty pitches from Valverde, but he still annoys me.
