does anyone truly care anymore? I just can’t bring myself to give a shit about this team anymore. I don’t care if Caleb pans out. Don’t care if Flus is fired, don’t care if they rebuild the OL. This team is just exhausting. Feel like we’ve been having the SAME conversations for the last two decades. I think I might’ve reached a breaking point. So exhausting man.

If they don't fire Flus, I don't want to watch. But I don't want to watch another regime change either.

I record the games anyway. I guess I'll just check the box score...if it seems like it was a good game I'll watch, if not, then no.

At least you can fast forward the commercials and watch a game in an hour and a half.

I really cannot see getting Sunday Ticket next year. I'll just get the $99 NFL.com thing. Watching live isn't a priority for me anymore.

Exhausted, sure. But not caring? I'd say that's simply not true. If you didn't care, you wouldn't be on this board - let alone posting. Being truly apathetic means you'd just disappear, stop watching entirely, stop monitoring news, etc.

So yeah, I'll say it: I care. Less than I did, certainly, but still care and still hope this team moves in the right direction. What that is? I have absolutely zero idea anymore because I haven't watched or followed a competent team in decades lol

I'm a Bears, White Sox, Blackhawks and Bulls fan. It's a dark time.

I was excited last offseason until they passed on harbaugh. This franchise going no where. I’m more interested in where Blackhawks will be in next few years than George’s bears

I have cared less and less about all pro sports every year for quite a while. The way the off seasons played out the last few years and landing Williams and Odunze managed to pull me back this season. I’ll check the ESPN gamecast but I’m done for the season, I have much more important shit to do, frankly. Maybe I’ll be back next season

Exhausted absolutely, I do want to thank the Bears though. With their inept organizational skills, and truly shit teams. It allowed my sons to not want to play football, and instead play hockey. Although I would like to bill the Bears for all the costs that this endeavor has cost me.

For me that was a win as my boys will never have to experience the rollercoaster know as being a Bears Fan.

Ambivalent is probably a better word for me, I watch the first half and depending on how that goes I may or may not watch the rest. It is trending more and more towards **** this by the middle of the 2nd quarter. It took me about this long to start getting this way with Nagy. I have never been fully in on Fluser, I had hoped for the best but clearly, he is not the guy.

I miss the days when I’d get excited for games. I miss going to bars and watching games with the blind illusion that the bears were actually going to be good. After decades of watching this team in just numb to the idea we’ll ever be more than a shit organization. I don’t even put the games on my tv anymore. It’s on my iPad or phone because I don’t want to make my family suffer through this. I don’t even get upset anymore after shit like yesterday. I miss the days when that crap would ruin my week. Bears are just bearing!

I had the game on in the background just listening while I was painting the main area of my house and kitchen. I honestly didn't even really care, so I feel you. When something is supposed a source of enjoyment but it's just pain and stress, best to cut it out until it can be enjoyable again.

I’m very close to this state. About a year ago I told my brother I was just done with the Bears. Then Caleb happened.

It seems like the same old crap and I have less time to focus on the Bears now vs the past.

I started watching when I was 17 and naive in how the world works, but now at 41 I get it. It’s about ownership, they don’t care or don’t understand.

Look at what happens to good teams when the owner changes i.e. the Panthers and bad teams when bad owners leave i.e. the Commanders.

If you watch the games on TV and say screw it I've seen this movie before, and turn it off and go and do something productive in your life, then that makes sense to me as a Bears fan.

What I cannot understand is how people would actually spend their hard earned money to go to the games, or take a road trip to watch this team, or, and this is the one that really blows my mind, be a season ticket owner. The Bears have been a bad product for almost 40 years yet people give up thousands of dollars to buy that product, just makes zero sense to me. To me it's like here is a product that a company has for sale, this product is defective, doesn't work, has intermittently worked 2 or 3 times in the past 40 years, but for the most part it's junk, and it's for sale to you for big $$$$$, and then people actually say "okay thanks, I want it, and I want it for years and years". I just don't understand it.

Poles & Flus should be fired today.

I only feel for the hard working fans that buy gear and go to games spending good $$$ this should not be stressful 😤 it should be an escape/ entertainment.

I switched to the Was/Pitt game midway through the 3rd. It felt good. There's no pt in watching the Bears right now imo.

I still wear my BEARS gear when I go to the Jewels to gear up for the games. BEARS zubaz, Urlacher jersey, BEARS crocs, and facepaint. If I see a Packer fan, I make their life miserable. And I break wind around them, then point and laugh.
