I cant see any expansion teams coming up in the NFL. There ate talks of teams relocating to London and LA. Teams like Jax, TB and StL wouldnt be missed.

MLS announced FOUR expansion franchises in addition to NYCFC last night, all coming by 2020. You'd have to think Orlando and Beckham's Miami will get 2 of them.

Fuck Omaha. If anyone NBA team is added, it should be in Seattle. Too bad the Kings' move fell through. I would honestly push for a team moving to Seattle more than adding an expansion team.

Paul Allen, owner of the Seattle Seahawks, Portland Trail Blazers, and minority owner of the Seattle Sounders FC, is very interested in an NHL expansion team to Portland. Quebec and Toronto (second) do need teams, and Seattle is apparently getting an expansion, so someone will be left unhappy with NHL's unwillingness to move Phoenix.

Interesting I didn't hear about an NBA team possibly being in Omaha. I still think Las Vegas should get a team.

Stern acknowledged the possibility of teams in Seattle and Vegas last month. ;)

I wonder if St. Louis would support a basketball team...

Just did some quick checking, and the St. Louis Hawks were above league average attendance every year but their final season. However, the ABA's Spirits were significantly below average. However, the NBA and ABA attendances of the times were between 4K and 7.3K on average, so it isn't saying much.

Soccer team would work great in STL.

Hmm interesting.

Any rumor on when They could get one?

NBA? No idea.
MLS? If an owner emerges, they instantly become among the 4-6 favorites for one of the 4 announced expansion teams.

I was referring to MLS, hoping they find an owner

If they would have just gotten one, they'd have been frontrunners in every expansion race since 2005.

Closest bet came in a stadium proposal for southwestern Illinois. Would have been nice for 2 Illinois teams, though of course only one would really represent the state. ;) Also would be funny for both of Missouri's big cities to have teams, but for the state not to have any (SKC plays in Kansas).

Bad for business for a team to move because it will make fans mad? Ummm... no, because they don't need those fans anymore when they play in another city.

Orlando stadium vote with county tomorrow. Not expected to pass at this minute, MLS lobbying hard.
