I'm not trying to be a homer here but there is no way Cutler should be in that discussion. Good way to lose what little credibility you may have had. The biggest thing I saw from Cutler today were the lack of forced throws into coverage. Arguably his one pass that was thrown into coverage was the TD pass to Benentt.

To bad he did not say it. I never understood what mush mouth says anyway.

I have no idea what it is but Peyton threw 462 yds, 7 yds, 0 ints, he can't possibly be 5th

I know, that is why I was wondering where those came from. The link Winterwarz posted have the correct numbers.

yeah, but remember we've all established he's not top 10 material. He's in the 12-16 range (10-16 for the benefit of PIB)

Wait a second -- Cutler had a better qb rating than Peyton? 7 TD passes and he only had an 83?

That was ESPN's QBR. I'm not even sure how they calculate it... I think they put more weight into stats in more critical moments. So if you're up by 14 and throw a TD, it won't count as much as throwing a TD to win the game.

So Jay's is probably higher because of the TD he threw late in the 4th to take the lead... while Manning, for example, threw a few TD's while the Broncos had the lead.

Considering the level of defense he went up against today in game #1 in this system today....he was top 10 today you *****.

Does anyone have a twitter who can ask him who looks like a horse, him or Mr. Ed? Cutler played a good game. Nothing earth shattering, but when it was time for him to step up be the centerpiece of the team he did do so, like it or not.

242 yards, he had a 63.6 COMP%, & 63% or better tends to be the magic number for a QB's COMP%, with a 2-1 TD to INT ratio. Jay was fine today.

There has been an amendment to this. It should now read - Cutler is in the 12-16 range (10-16 for the benefit of PIB and NVANPROOYEN). He asked to be added to this rating disclaimer yesterday as he has him 10-11.

I think they just refuse to admit that the emergence of Kaepernick, Griffin, Luck and Wilson all at the same time has pushed him back quite a bit. These guys are for real and they won't go away.

I agree, but everybody says you have to give them two years. I have the patience to wait another year.
