I show up about 30-40 mins before my flight. Midway is fast as hell. Get thru the lines in about 10 mins and I only wait 20ish mins until my flight. Idk why people get there hours early.

They should have offered him a hotel room at least. Shouldn't even have to ask for that IMO.

What happens when a flight is delayed to the next day? Do they pay for your hotel or anything?

They are obligated to when you miss a connecting flight that won't be available till the next day due to their flight arriving late. I am not so sure about this instance as they clearly delayed over and over to avoid doing that.

Yep, I got a flight to LA on Wednesday. Booked it about 2 weeks prior (pretty late) and got a direct flight round trip for $227 with southwest. Can't beat it.

Stuck at Ohare. Spent two hours on the plane but never left the gate. Then find out we have a mechanical problem so we have to deplane. We're sposed to wait for an agent to explain what's happening. No one comes out. Twenty minutes later an announcement that we might get going in a hour an half and we all get twelve dollar food court vouchers. Yay! Ask how to get said voucher. I'm directed to line that looks like I'll have to wait another hour in.

Oh well, just wanted to vent.

Shitty, glad you finally got to where you need to be. We went through a bunch of ridiculous shit like this a few weeks ago. We went on vacation to the east coast and had our flights to and from cancelled. Had to spend a bunch more money and put up with a bunch of nonsense both times and got to our intended destinations at least 12 hours late. **** frontier airlines, la guardia airport, the ny port authority, and the faa
