Did anyone watch this series all the way to the end?

I toughed out the last 2 seasons and was really disappointed with how they kinda just shit out an ending that seemed to be written by a 10 year old.

I enjoyed the premise and idea of the show..I thought it was decent season 1, but definitely needed some improvement... but that never really came.... I think I watched halfway through season 3 before I moved out of my parents house, lost cable, and then never went back to it. I kept reading how it didn't get any better.

I thought seasons 1 and 2 were good, season 3 went downhill a bit, then season 4 stumbled and season 5 was the "Oh shit we gotta wrap this whole thing up"

Honestly a show with this kind of idea is best done to me in mini-series format. Something that should be on HBO or Netflix where shows don't have time lengths. But you get like Ten 60 minute episodes to do a series.

Falling Skies fell into a trap that I see many shows fall into.... they have a good idea for the start of a story but have no idea where it should go.

So many shows struggle just to get picked up for a first season they don't work hard on a long term story.... then they do well and they get renewed and the writers go "Oh shit oh shit oh shit we need to take this story somewhere" and then they scramble to take it somewhere and often wind up on a story arc that they are stuck with.

I think this is why so many shows now are based on books.... you know it is a good story and you dont have to guess where it should go in seasons beyond season 1.

LOST felt like this in season 2... lol like the writers went "Holy fuk people are actually watching this?"

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago White Sox
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears

Exactly. Couldn't have summed it up any better. The bullshit drama added into the final season pissed me off so much. The beef with Pope, the beef with the high ranking military *****, humans versus humans when fighting fucking aliens is just fucktarded. The actual ending itself was also so half-baked I was like really mother *******? Really?

I like Falling Skies. Haven't seen the last season yet. I think, like stated before it's a great idea that kind of gets messed up when you try and milk it for too long. But when I get 2 seasons in I have to see how it ends.

Revolution is another show that seemed like a great idea, but they didn't seem to know what to do after it got picked up for a full season.

I didn't allow myself to get into Revolution because I could see it coming.

Screw you for banning me and deleting my friends account.

Same, I had to see how it ended.... last season they made some bullshit up for like 6 episodes, then shat out a one-size-fits-all ending

I liked how they manufactured some characters that they could kill... the dude who was hold up in that house.... the Lieutenant at the military base... added in to the show 3-4 episodes before it ended and im supposed to care when they die lol

Possibly the worst series finale ever. Ive watched from the beginning and the show has gone downhill but it was at least still enjoyable. That last episode was major ass though. What a letdown.

It really felt like they had no idea how to end the show... they cobbled together some sort of climax, manufactured some drama that didn't make sense, had a death you barely cared about, and then finished up with a Hollywood happily-ever-after ending.

I just like looking at Bloodgood. The show concept is amusing. Most/all tv is dumb to begin with.

First of all...what? Where did that come from?
I watch TV but I'm willing to admit most of it is trash.its just an amusing g distraction. That has nothing to with books or a compare contrast of/toward books.
