I tried to watch this series and couldnt get through like 3 episodes. Lotta dumb shit. Like why do the alien robot things with lasers and shit always insist on engage in melee combat? Wtf is that?

I dont get why the scifi channel is so bad at scifi. Sometimes they have good show ideas, good plots, good characters, but so often the actual science fiction is just trash. Like just some backdrop they dont put too much thought into. Its a shame.

ive tried to get into Defiance twice. Both times i get about 6-7 episodes in and then check out.
