I think they show the amount the Hawks charge for a seat as the "face value," even if the STH pays less. Unfortunately, because the Hawks charge more than the STH price for most seats, we're not allowed to sell for less than the Hawks' charge when we sell our seats via TicketExchange. Knock wood, thus far we haven't had a problem selling ours in the 300 level but we would sell at closer to our cost if we could.



Also, I'd like to say that for some reason, every time I see this thread's title I think of Mozart's Cosi Fan Tutte. But I'm fairly sure I'm losing it.

Our tickets show face value as $50.00, and that is what they cost us. 44 games x $50.00 = $2,200.00.



So as a STH we did not pay less than face value for our tickets.

That's not what I mean. I mean that if someone buys a ticket from a season ticket holder on Ticket Exchange, even if the STH paid $25 per ticket (the price that shows up if the STH prints the ticket), because the Hawks sell those same seats for $35/ticket, the STH can't sell for less than $35 and person buying via Ticket Exchange will get a ticket showing $35 as face value.)



We would like to be able to sell our tickets at "our" face value but we can't do that via TicX because we're not allowed to undersell the Hawks there.

Right, thats STH face value. Joe Schmo face value for your seat is different, as is day of game (as if there are any) face value.
