Big fan here and, yes, the second season is pretty intense.

Just watched the latest episode. Opens with Bruce Campbell as Ronald Reagan circa 1979.

I wonder if the renegade indian is going to be hanged?
Throughout the episodes, there were many scenes where characters were tying knots with rope absent mindedly, the state cop and the butcher most notably... and the butcher had a plaque of ropes in various knots in his garage.
If it was all leading up to the butcher being almost hung and that is all, then kinda dissapointing.

also... what the **** is with the space ship? several appearances, not really involved in the story, and it hardly phased the butchers wife (funny scene).

both seasons have been home runs.

The last episode (2nd to last of the season) was great. I'm in an argument on another message board with a guy that loves the show but hated the last episode. His big issues were the narrator and the aliens. Those were not a problem for me, the body count alone was worth the price of admission.
