All I really remember about the 70s and Saturday mornings. Call it a Scooby-Doo ripoff all you want, but it was truly the better show. Their ghosts were real instead of middle-aged men playing dress up and stalking a bunch of teenagers.
This has nothing to do with anything else in this thread, sorry LOU.

So why did he walk out? Did he have to take a dump like Duran?

ali ran from foreman afta that. he wanted nothing to do with the real goat afta feeling dat thunder.. theres a reason there wasnt an ali/foreman II.... theres also a reason the fight was in the jungle.. to sap the real goats energy.... if that fight was in madison square garden in fall.. ali probably be dead afta rd 4...
foreman > ali
None of that true. Ali ran from none and never, even after his brains were scrambled and he didn’t know when to quit, did Ali take a 10 count. He expected to fight Foreman again that following year but Foreman took all of ‘75 off. Back then fighters fought more often and especially in his first few years George would fight about a dozen times in a single year so after getting knocked out by Ali, he was depressed and decided he needed a year off. Meanwhile Ali went on to fight another hard hitter in Ron Lyle and then the Thrilla in Manila.
Foreman returned in ‘76 and beat a handful of guys in rapid succession before losing a #1 contender’s match to Jimmy Young. It was after that loss that, when Foreman got back to the locker room, he said he blacked out and heard a voice tell him he was dead. Then he woke and saw blood on his hands and said it was God calling him. He then retired after that fight to become a Preacher. He would return to boxing 10 years later, long after Ali had retired, saying he needed to make money for the Lord to support his church. He went on to KO Michael Moorer to win the IBF and WBA HW Championships thus becoming the oldest HW to ever win the Title.

Wow thanks Spartan, i never knew that, good info.
Just so happens I know more about those 2 fighters than any others.
I remember in Elementary school, in both 5th and 6th grades we had to do reports on a famous black person during Black History month. I did one on Muhammad Ali the first year and George Foreman the next.
