Wow, I thought there would be more people that recognized Kobe's greatness.

I think everyone [at least I hope] knows Kobe is an amazing player. That doesn't mean that he has to be everyone's favorite player.

Larry bird was awesome to watch. His basketball IQ was off the charts. And Kevin Garnett is my favorite from this era. He was so dominant when he needed to be.

All-time: Kobe Bryant
Currently: Kevin Durant

I don't like Kobe's game anymore but I loved it during his prime '01-'10.

I also want to add, Manute Bol. The guy was such a trip to watch. Excellent finesse skills, even for him being so damn long. I definitely have a place in my heart for his contributions to the game in his prime.

I also enjoyed watching Paul Pierce play, he was really underrated and under appreciated and still is really.

I like LeBron's game as well but I don't really like him or his personality.

Another alltime favorite of mine to watch play was Nick "the quick" Van Exel.
Before Kobe, Van Exel was the go to guy to score in 4th quarters or overtime games....and he handled his business..
The Lakers had a decent squad before Shaq & Kobe. (Divac,Van Exel,Ceballos,E.Jones) that were fun to watch, especially the many clutch performances by Nick.....He broke kneecaps as he was very quick and creative in creating shots for himself...Ben Gordon reminded me of him when he first came to th Bulls with his many clutch 4th quarters..I guess that's why I liked B.G, because he reminded me of one of my favorite players of all time(Nick Van Exel)...Nick was a much better ball handler though and great passer, plus he mainly played pointgaurd with a 2guard mentality...

I dunno why, but seeing names like Penny Hardaway & Nick Van Exel remind me of good ol' Mitch Richmond! Dude was pretty sick. haha

Oh dang forgot about Penny...that guy could ball before his injuries. He's up there on my list.
