I don't have too many outstanding memories from my childhood...especially sports wise (because I'm short and unathletic) so I'll just throw out a few good ones that remember.

I do remember vaguely the Bulls' last championship (I think I was like 7 then...and not yet into basketball). My dad was a huge Kukoc fan so he would always point out to me when he came into the game and stuff. I think in 98 I knew more about Kukoc than Jordan, Pippen, and Rodman combined (though strangely enough, my dad liked Rodman as well and would point him out as the guy with ____ hair). But the the day the Bulls won that last championship was quite a happy day at my house.

I think 2004 was the first time I watched a Bulls game beginning to end on my own and of my own accord. Watching Ben Gordon light up the Knicks...good times.

I've hit plenty of game winners and stuff in pick up games of basketball, but those don't really stand out as being very special to me. Maybe I'm cocky like that? :smug:

Growing up with my little brother, being able to watch the Attitude ERA in WWF(I will always call it that), playing in a few baseball leagues with my first hit coming on my grand parents birthday(They were born on May 20th but 10 years apart) which resulted in an RBI single.

Another favorite moment was when I finally was eligible to play for my high school football team as a quarterback and safety(played special teams mainly) but this video ----> topped my high school career as we defeated a two time defending state champion team on our own turf!

When I finally realized my calling as a sports journalist in my senior year in high school and have not stopped since then! Guess you can say sports has led me to many good things

It was my 10th birthday. Oct 10 1966. I came home from school and there was a bike in the living room. It was the best day of my life. We never had much growing up and it was a big deal. Today's kids are spoiled rotten.
