Canada has a badass military.

And sorry for the sporadic defense of Canada I was hit in the head with a frying pan tonight.

I love that frying pan. Thanks PSR for posting the truth but they forgot to mention that our women are hotter than yours and no mention of poutine and no Shatner?

Speaking of kithen items..I used to play with a vegetable steamer as a kid. Pretended it was a U.F.O. I loved that fucking thing. No lies. Card board boxes and vegetable steamers? No wonder I am all messed up. THANKS MOM AND DAD!!

P.S. Love how you all got Nintendo. I was stuck with Atari. Not complaining though Missal Command is still classic. E.T. was not.

Oh yea the lights went all the way around the bases and field several times. I went and checked it out tonight.

So awesome! My brother and I lost the little battery cover plate, so we would have to tape the battery in and then kinda hold it in there while we played. Needless to say, we got our money's worth with that thing!

I'll sell it to you. I hated the baseball but loved the football. Baseball was too easy. The noise it made while cranking a HR out of the park was classic!

We didn't have the football so that's why I played the baseball. The noise was half the battle, I mean I was like... 8... Drove everyone crazy. I'm pretty sure there was a mute button though, they always yelled at me to turned it down I think.

It really does scare me sometimes how in tune we end up being. I can never pass Jako, but man does it give me hope.

Agreed.

you get a plus 78797 for that one TJD.

Made me spit water.

Plus one from me too. Almost got me in trouble at work.

Another great game that we played until it wore out and (then soldered the wiring in the controllers to fix) was Intellivision hockey.

Hahaha I love that clip, and have watched it and refered to it many times, yet I still had to play the whole thing though again.

Was that He Man?

Thinking my lil bro had one.

Yeah, it was his lair - I just remember it being huge at the age I had it. I was always using it for my 3.5" Joes as well.

Who didn't? There was this great candy store we used to go to in Schaumburg and we'd always buy the thin, long jolly ranchers, fun dip and packs of Garbage Pail Kids.

I still get "nostalgic" when I'm searching for a movie to watch on Netflix Streaming and I see it there. I haven't watched it because I think I'm afraid of it totally sucking. That happened with the Super Mario Bros. show... it did not age well... at all.

Favorite? Ugh that's a tough one. I was spoiled because I had older sisters, and nothing but girl cousins. I spent a lot of time in make believe land by myself when I wasn't with friends or at some sport.

I had 3'3/4' G.I.Joes out the wazzoo. I had a fair amount of Transformers. A ton of micro machines, hot wheels, and matchbox cars. Buckets full of legos. Some M.A.S.K toys, some He-Man, some Star Wars, several fire trucks (my dad was a firefighter). We had an atari 6400, Nintendo (NES), Sega Genesis, eventually a playstation, PCs going back to the Commodore 64.

Out of everything I would have to say the G.I.Joes were my favorite. I just watched the cartoon version of that movie the other day - Cobra lalalalalalalalalala!

Yeah, we used to ride our bikes down to the "dime" store. Candy and Cards... The movie does not do it justice. But I would still definitely watch it if I were you.

Alick's Drug Store was where it was at for all my candy and toy needs... too bad it basically went out of business when I was in middle school. Then all that was left was Alick's Home Medical Supply.... Very different audience. And Judd's was too far to ride.

Also collected these http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M.U.S.C.L.E.

Wish I still had them to be honest they were sort of fun
