What dogs do you guys own or what are your favorite breeds?

I don't have any dogs anymore but I've had shih tzus and a beagle.

Beagles are definitely my favorite dog. Some people hate their howls but I love it.

Boxers.

Great dogs. Loyal, smart, obedient. Great around kids. Very active though. I usually take mine running or trips to the dog park.

I have always liked Huskies and Elkhounds.....I have owned both. My Elkhound was 17 when he passed and I now have a 3 year old Husky......Huskies are a fucking handfull....

Dachshunds, I've owned 5. Labs are pretty awesome too. I have a lab mix and he is probably the best dog I've ever had.

Mutts, Shelties, other Mutts, Papillon (didn't think I would like it, turned out to be cool), Border Collie, more Mutts.

It looks like pretty much all the dogs I've had since I was a kid, except Shih Tzu's **** those horrible useless little monsters.

I love those too.... my sister/brother inlaw have a 2 year old Shepherd.

I just question whether I could deal with the amount of energy they have... that dog will literally play fetch or tug until you are dead... then he will go see if another person will throw stuff for him to chase.

I will probably just look for a rescue mutt when I eventually get a dog.... if one happens to be a Shepherd or Shepherd mix I might be drawn in.

I am not sure. I want another big dog. My 90 pound pitty needs someone to wrassle.

If I had the room I would be all in on a Malinois.

But alas I feel like I would need at least a few acres to run em.

and I am in the city, I have a half acre, but that is not sufficient for a dog of that level of need.
