Sometimes you can find stuff like that at the Blackhawks Official Store in Downtown Chicago on Michigan Avenue, just south of the river.

I know the Bears did that when they had their fan convention, maybe the Hawks are doing the same thing there? I worked it one year as a volunteer but didn't get a chance to walk around and see what they had there. Tons of vendors selling stuff, though.
That hawks store is awesome.

I was lucky enough to go to chicago in summer 2010, and that was the first place I went to.....i wish i could work there

It used to be the ONLY place where you could find Blackhawks merchandise, outside of the UC. None of the local sports stores (Dick's Sporting Goods, Sports Authority, etc.) would carry it. That place became my mecca.

Real good spot, too. The train closest to me ends about 1/2 a mile from the store.

How'd you manage to pull all of those? Couldn't be just luck of the draw. Impressive.

yeah if those were in packs he really got lucky or he bought a shit load of em. its sad that baseball cards and hockey cards ETC took the nose dive that it did.

Just cheaper to get off eBay and online shops. Than to buy packs anymore.

Yeah, it got bad. I've still got 3 or 4 thousand boxed away from my collection as a kid. Didn't get much hockey stuff but a ton of football cards.

Thinking about buying some of them again in the next football/hockey season but they got damn expensive, like you said.

I got a lot of Hawks gear- but I think I will go low key - a postcard I got as a very little kid -with Pat Stapleton, Doug Moens (probably spelled it wrong), and Stan Mikita's autograph -which I got in person.
