I'm probably just nit-picking here, but threads like this get ruined when people start posting youtube video after youtube video. I'm on a phone, I'm not going to sit here for 5 minutes while all of the videos decide to load their names/song titles.

If you are actually interested in getting people to listen to different music, post a band/song title and if they are interested enough, they can look it up.

Okay, done with my rant. It is probably just my phone and waiting for 5 mintes to even see what song is on display. Everything else loads fast, but youtube videos, especially a page with 20 of them, takes too long for me to hold my interest. Anyone that posted a video on this thread, I have no idea what song it was, because I didn't sit there for 5 minutes waiting. /rant

That said: Tool / Aenima, Zeppelin / Tangerine, Zeppelin / When the Levee Breaks, NiN / Deep, NiN / Reptile

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
  1. Washington Huskies
Like a lot of people here I don't have an overall favorite, but I definitely have some favorite songs and these two are the ones I can't stop listening to right now:

Melvins - Honey Bucket (imo the greatest rock song written in my life time)

never much into music but some stuff stands out for me. No rhyme or reason to it all. I'll just throw some out there.

Seems appropriate since the Co-Founder of the Doors died yesterday... http://www.tmz.com/2013/05/20/ray-manzarek-dead-the-doors-cancer/

It would be very very difficult to come up with a top 10, much less a favorite. I have to many at this point in my life.

So many good songs...its hard to narrow them down. Off the top of my head real quick...

Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
Mars Volta - The Widow
Between the Buried and Me - Selkies: The Endless Obsession

I could easily put more but to keep it brief that's it.

Great song. I love Miike Snow.

But my favorite, after much dismay that his second album could possibly be better than the first, is Black Tin Box.

Great songs have character, good lyrics, and solid instrumentals. While difficult to come up with 1, or even a top 10 fav song list...have to include this one:

Happy 4th of July a month or so early, song was originally written for the Bicentennial in 1976:

I will have to check out most of those when I get on a computer with sound. I've never heard of some of those guys/bands.

Don't play any Venetian Snares in your restaurant unless you wanna attract a bunch of nerdy sexy freaks that will trash the place.
