This is a perfectly reasonable position to take. But people need to understand that there’s a very real **possibility** that Poles has no fucking clue what he’s doing. And if that turns out to be the case, we’ll all look back at this offseason and say this is where the questionable decisions began.

To point out those things now and not wait 2-3 years doesn’t make one a “hater” or an “idiot”.
Where have I said any of this?

When the offense is actually just fine in the regular season, can we vote off all the Marys on these forums that have been snowflaking all offseason?

Do you mind me asking: do you think climate change is a hoax and that Covid is overblown?

define "fine" . . .

the bar is real low when it comes to bear qb's. Justin could throw for 15 td's and it will deemed a great year.

I can counter with the ohio state qb's in the nfl list. Let me know if you haven't seen it

They all failed for drastically different reasons.

it expands across multiple eras

If i said "when the offense is actually terrible in the regularly season, can we vote off all of the homers on these forums that have been shilling all offseason?" in 2019 and 2020, you would be banned right now.

Lets stop trying to turn CCS into an echo chamber.

Wow. Who would have thought that a bunch of mid to late round to undrafted QB's would suck? Outside of Haskins, this is a non-story. Just shows how busted Bust is.

it's all about the ohio state curse. Cub fans at one time thought the black cat and billy goat were overhyped bullshit . . . little did they know
Little did they know that once they finally built a team the right way they would win?

Translation- you don't have an original fucking thought coming from that pea-brain you have. Good to see you can't respond to the Pat Mahomes/Texas Tech or Russel Wilson/Wisconsin questions.

We get it. You were calling names and defending Jay Cutler back in the day.

It's all good man! /highfive

Football Outsiders obviously doesn't watch Bears games because if they did, they would see that there were games that were directly lost due to poor secondary play. I get it that the offense sucked last year, but if we had a decent secondary we could have won 2-3 more games last year with a shitty offense.

Although I love fantasy football, it's not real football. It seems like all the naysayers and pundits are looking at it from a fantasy football perspective, and whether the Bears offense can put up numbers. Although I'd love for them to put up numbers, what I want more are wins. Winning will help a QBs development as much as anything. Having a defense and running game will take the pressure off of Fields, and allow him to develop naturally. If a QB has to regularly throw 40+ times a game, it means their defense sucks and they are constantly playing from behind. Although it's a decent formula for finding a sleeper QB pick in your fantasy draft, it's not for a winning football team. There's many flash in the pan QBs that put up decent numbers on a crappy team. That's not what I want out of Fields. I want him to be part of a team that wins consistently. That means we need to have effectiveness in all 3 phases. I don't give a shit if anybody on the Bears is worth having on a fantasy football team, as long as they are winning games.

In the end what I want out of Justin Fields is the ability to win games. Fuck the stats and fantasy points.

Turnovers= Field Position = Momentum

Give short field to the opposition equates to losses.

Sugarcoat all you like but Justin dropped balls like a hot potato. This new coaching staff will pull him if that continues.
