I just hope Wada comes back soon. Haren has been quite awful.

Kinda random. There's no reason to think he'll be any sort of upgrade

These guys all seem to have a history with Maddon...maybe he's putting in a good word for them. Trouble is, these guys got nothing left in the tank.

I think everyone is being to hard on Rodney. He is a good addition to the bullpen. I am disappointed in Haren as well. Not sure why we made that love but solidifying the bullpen is always huge!!

Adding a guy with a 1.50 whip is not solidifying the bullpen......its throwing crap against the wall and hoping it sticks.

LOL @ You! Have you looked at the Cubs record lately?

And what major move do you expect now? The Cubs are making every move they can to try to better the team going into a playoff run. Would you rather they not make any moves? Again, LOL @ you!

Rodney was Tampa Bay's closer for a couple of years, so you are on to something.

Finally got our closer!!! Dude is throwing heat! Never mind his 10.00+ ERA -- the guy is electric.

.....yikes. Between him and Soriano, we keep piling up the bullpen scrubs.

Ehh, just kicking the tires. Hopefully they will be quick to stop the experiments when they aren't working (Soriano, Motte, and Haren *cough*)

Yeah he's just an arm they're checking out. If he sucks he'll be gone.

I'm actually surprised at how bad Haren has been. He should have been an upgrade from Clayton Richard but he was a downgrade and that's scary.

Pitched last night 6.2IP 6H 1ER 1BB 3K but he's been really inconsistent at Iowa. I would really like to see Pierce Johnson get a start just to see what he can do at the MLB level. That or go back to Richard I suppose if you have to. They can't trot Haren out there anymore.

Yeah I'm ready to give up on Haren as well. How's pierce doing? And what about CJ Edwards?

Johnson has a 2.22 ERA and a 1.123 WHIP with a 6-2 record at AA Tennessee, he's looked good since being shut down for a while. We'll probably see Edwards next week but he hasn't been stretched out to start all year so it will likely be in the pen.

This is a whatever move. But we need a new guy to try at starting. Hendricks and Haren aren't trustworthy. They are both good for 4-5 runs a game and that's not good.

And as for Wada, I know the game I went to last week, he started and got rocked! 4 straight hits to start the game. I think he gave up like 9 hits, 5 runs in 4-5 innings against the scrubby Bees.
