I would probably follow your doctor's advice, rather than any you get here. I know a girl who has it, but FM is the least of her worries to be honest. Tough to diagnose, and not easy to treat. You need a lifestyle change probably.

No pills. Never trust the medical establishment in cases like this in which it's a chronic illness for which they say there is no cure. And ignore the ignorant who will tell you to do whatever a doctor tells you. Medical care is a leading cause of death.

There's 2 things that cause chronic illness, deficiency of vital nutrients and toxins that have already caused you harm. I know of some peeps who had this and helped themselves to the point where they were essentially cured and no longer suffering the effects. So the best advice to you is to cure thyself. Search up what others have done to help themselves. The answer for the people I spoke of was going gluten free and possibly dairy free as well. And some of the nutrients you may be deficient in would be vitamin d and magnesium. Vitamin C is also always a good thing to add and, of course, fish oil is popular with people who suffer from fibromyalgia or any type of joint pain.

This is terrible advice. Trust a guy who spends his days googling, or trust yourself.

You, sir, are an ignoramus. Trust someone who only knows the propaganda they've been filled with their entire life or trust a wonderful, caring, knowledgeable person like myself.

Stop with your nonsense, and posing, you twit.

Common sense required in all things and people like you just don't seem to have it. Here, I suggest a mere diet change I know has helped others. It certainly could do no harm yet you are offended cause the propaganda you've been filled with says to listen to the doctors.

And I suggested a lifestyle change might be appropriate. The difference is, I'm not acting like I'm an expert, and have the answers, while at the same time disparaging the people he has seen. You are tiresome.

I can be tiresome and right at the same time. I believe the medical establishment is all about profit and they will suck people in, who blindly believe these doctors are more knowledgeable and caring than they are, and just make them poorer and sicker.

diet could be part of it. idk. my bloods didnt show any vitamin deficiencies though. gmos.. maybe

had issues since i was a kid.. docs use to tell me it was all in me head.. learned to just deal with pain.. and it would just come and go.. over the last few years its gotten worse.. not the severity of the pain but the rate at which it was there.. instead of 50/50 and feeling good half the time... its like 80/20.. 90/10 where i feel like shit..

someone told me to suck off of oz... well i guess disability here i come?? oh i cant get disability in oz.. gots to be a PR for 10 years or a citizen.. aint becoming no citizen.. but they do have an agreement with the usa.. so the usa would have to pay fer me.. so id be sucking off murica for years to come.. idk how assets and disability work in murica.. but in aus you can have up to 800k in assets as a couple and still claim i think..

As much fun as it may seem it would be to suck off of murica for years to come, I think you'd rather get better sooner. Cut out gluten and dairy for a few weeks, you might just be able to see improvement that quickly.

Then just go gluten free. From what I learned from others, it helped them a lot and they also mentioned the pills they took prior didn't help them when their condition was at the worst. Always try the easiest and safest solutions first.

yeah im not a big med guy... possible side effects sometimes outweigh the benefits.. i remember some doc giving me some meds one time and was like a possible side effect be an oily anal discharge.. im like **** that.. see ya.. im more inclined to trying herbs and other natural shit..... plus eliminating things..

Good philosophy, IMO. Ran in to an ex-coworker of mine yesterday and we talked for a while. He mentioned his uncle had died recently, only 42. He had gone to the doctor complaining of chest pains. Doc prescribed him some meds and he died just a few days later. In the past, I've seen others close to me go downhill quickly when they go the doctor care/prescription route.

Look at ways to reduce inflammation and increase gut health.

Those two things make a huge difference in a lot of peoples lives.

Check out the whole 30 for diet that fights inflammation and stops gut leakage.

That, or does fibromyalgia qualify you for medical MJ?

Also, exercise makes a big difference. Movement is important to helping get away from pain.

If you diet, exercise, and still hurt the same or more, then I'd start the hard mj diet.
