The interception was bad, but its crazy how many people are mad at Fields with how quick this team fell into a 0-24 hole. Up until that point, what elee could he do? Maybe there was one other throw where he could have given his receiver a better ball. Even when the offense did move the ball, KC just turned around and had an 80+ yard TD drive

But overall, Its clear to me this coaching staff is clueless on what to do on 3rd down. Our OLine can't block for a milisecond when it is an obvious passing down. Yet our coaching staff gives Justin no intermediate options around the sticks in these situations. Getsy has no idea how to draw open guys and make things easier on 3rd down. We havr dome quick twitch guys. Why can't we draw up some quick routes to get them the ball or have them beat their man in close space? It just seems like the staff has no clue how to utilize their talent.

Agree with all your points. Fields has also played awful. A lot of blame to spread around.

Broncos leaky defense just gave up 70 points . . . nothing like a Fields led offense to help them right the ship, heh

This is worthless without a view that shows WR routes (IE All-22), but once that comes out and is available tomorrow its going to show mistakes from everyone. Tim Jenkins is a special boy and gets his film today, he has 9 plays up so you can see what the WRs are doing.

Fields almost certainly made the most because he touches the ball the most/has the most agency on plays and is playing bad. Some plays are going to be obviously drawn incorrectly/impossible to work against the given D. Some OL are going to get whupped faster than you can blame an indecisive QB on. WRs with drops or even more telling that no one on here really talks about is half assing routes. Claypool gets a lowlight video of it in game 1, but you could make a similar lowlight of DJ moore and even the rookie scott was loafing on plays where he wasnt running a real route. If one player is bringing your entire offense down, they suck. If everyone except Roschon Johnson is bringing your entire offense down, the management/coaching sucks.

Fields cannot throw anyone open. He cannot anticipate where his receivers will be. He has to see an open receiver before he’ll throw it. His pressers look like a guy who’s realized he’s in over his head….

I think Fields can lead his WR OK but not great, he did so on the slant to Moore. He had a dime deep ball to Moore as well that Moore just dropped...

His biggest problem imo is throwing in the middle of the field. He can't seem to throw that deep in-route that Rex Grossman's bread and butter ironically. And he's probably scared to throw to the deep middle because that's where you have to know what the coverage is doing.

Not enough quick hit crossing plays.

Without dissecting film it looks like he is holding the ball too long.

He was throwing downfield a lot because of the score, but there should have been more shorter plays not behind the line of scrimmage.

In Fields defense the oline, on many plays, gave him almost zero time.

His field vision and processing are awful. As bad or worse than Trubisky.

We have had 2 brainless wonders at QB in a row. Cutler and Grossman weren't very cerebral either. We probably haven't had a smart QB since Jim Miller.

QBs that can't process make the game look even harder than it is. They just can never take what the defense gives them. Everything is always forced.

WR were not getting open much vs KC. Getzy. Needed to make adjustments, he doesn’t seem to be running the GB offense? , just calling plays, spray and pray 🙏

Some of that was weird protection calls and I don't whose fault that was. Fields is also not intuitive as to how to move to give his blocker a better angle.

something for you to watch. You're clueless. Fields is unable to release a throw to NFL open receivers. Tough for you to understand, I get it.

The question to the coaching staff is who reviews these videos showing open receivers with Justin and ask why he didn't see them? It's all a read thing, and in MO, he can't read the defense.

I must admit, some of the route schemes that are called on 3rd down could maybe show the OC needs a shrink. 3rd and four and receiver sets have them running downfield routes that...... take time to develop, which means no time to throw. Tim Jenkins shows those as well. Fk bears are stupid.

I believe the thinking is that Fields has a better chance to pick up the yards with his legs rather than his arm, so they run clear out routes.

Tru dat. QB position is not easy. Look at Denver. They made John Elway a GM and even he couldn't land a quarterback to develop. Got so desperate they went ALL IN for Russell Wilson and now they fooked due to his elephant contract for an over the hill QB.

Because your qb isn’t a qb, he’s a runner
