John Hussey has been contacted by the NFL and told under no circumstances are any roughing the passer or unnecessary roughness penalties to be called for Justin Fields because he is really not a QB. He is a RB who just receives the snap from center and sometimes throws it.

If the NFL sends it out to the wrong hussy they might be in trouble

Dribble drool is too busy gushing over YAC Jones to know that Fields can throw the ball. Loved seeing him get benched vs an awful defense too.

the thing is that nothing on that list he has said through the year is wrong..

Early in the year he sucked.. lots of threads about possible bust territory by other people
He still holds onto the ball too long..
He is a fantastic runner but still is not throwing for many yards, not throwing guys open, not throwing into tight windows, not understanding what open is in the NFL.. You know all the problems he had earlier in the year when people where calling him a possible "bust" are still here, he just covered up his weakness with elite running..
All that running is NOT sustainable if he wants to have a long career.

Hopefully this injury is a wake up call for fields and the coaching staff to have him work on his actual QB skills, this year is pointless if he doesn't develop his QB skills and relies just on running. To be a true dual threat QB he is going to have to actually develop that other "threat"

Well year the dislocated shoulder thing was in fact wrong hence why I said so. I did not claim anything else was wrong so not sure you point in saying that when I never claimed it for the other stuff.

Sounding more and more like he'll play on Sunday. I'll be mildly surprised if he doesn't at least miss a game, but if he can't make the injury worse, and he can tough it out, more power to him.

Assuming he does play, I think they need to rely more on the RB's to get the bulk of carries with some WR sweeps sprinkled in. That was missing last week, for some reason. They have been really good at gaining a ton of yardage with their WR's.

I'll keep saying it, but give Velus Jones some of those carries. Without Herbert, they don't get hardly any explosive runs out of Montgomery. Jones has shown he's capable of doing some of that when given opportunities. He just needs more of them now.

For the pass game, the ball is going to have to come out of Fields hand quick. Mustipher is going to get absolutely destroyed by Williams on the Jets. I don't think Fields will have time for 5 step dropbacks at all in this game. I'd like to see more of what they were doing against MIA with their quick passing game. Deep shots should come off play action.

1. Fields sucks.
2. Ok he may not suck but he holds the ball too long.
3. Ok he may be a good runner but he doesnt throw for 200 yards
4. Ok he may be an elite playmaker but all this running is not sustainable.
5. Ok I may have lied about him having a dislocated shoulder but I just really don't want to see the guy I never believed in get hurt.

I've watched football for decades and drank the Kool aid.
