Legit, one of the first words out of 17 year old justin fields mouth in "QB1" season 2:

"Being #1, I guess you could just say that its a blessing. Everyone looks up to you, not only your teammates, but the kids in the junior program so you really need to watch what you're doing to make sure you're a positive influence. I don't really like being a cocky guy, the guys that I see that are good, I feel like everyone likes the humble guys that are good."

He's been even keel since day one. This is a kid who's been raised right in the light of stardom.

Why can't i find that season on Netflix? I wanted to watch it again or skim through it.

Look at all his pre-draft and post-draft interviews and the like. He's the exact same. He's not a media whore and doesn't appear to particularly enjoy the public song and dance. That's fine. More power to him. I don't buy that he was just pissed he fell to #11, although he may very well have been. In his eyes, he probably thought he deserved to go #1 or #2.

Now look at the videos of him interacting with teammates. Exuberant. Excited. Talkative. Encouraging.

I think it's pretty clear him interacting with the public and the media is very different from him interacting with his coaches and teammates.

I don't need anything else other than the report that all the Ohio State players declared for the draft that the Bears talked to said if they could bring one teammate with them, it'd be Fields. That's the ultimate compliment that speaks to a player's character, especially when that guy is the QB.

Watch QB1 on Netflix and then any of his interviews and this is typically how he always is. Other than he’s super quick to take blame for losses.
