I'm sorry, I thought the game was called baseball. Not hitball. The goal is to get on base and score runs. Batting Average only tells you how often a player gets a hit. There's more to baseball than just hits. Plus, it doesn't tell you anything about the hits. A player who hits 3 singles every 10 times, it just as good as a player who hits 3 HRs every time times.

Also, 2010. He didn't hit under .230 then.

Negative. Geo had a .385 wOBA, Posey had a .368. Geo had a wRC+ of 135, while Posey's was 129. Geo's ISO was also 17 points higher than Posey's at .217. Soto's OPS was also .890, while Posey's was .862.

Soto > Posey
I love you yap sample size to me when judging Ramirez's postseason failures, yet Soto has 100 less plate appearances than Posey.

Which is why I didn't use counting stats. It's not Geo's fault that Lou Pinella played Koyie Hill more than Geo.
Geo over Posey now? CO what do you smoke?

I never said Soto is better, I said Geo had a better year in 2010, which he did.

Every stat is a counting stat! Every stat is based off an actual plate appearance.

Soto had a 100 less because of injury.

You just said Soto>Posey in 2010. :obama: :obama: :obama:

That means you just said he's better than Posey :obama:

Every stat is a counting stat? So explain to me OBP. Or SLG. Or OPS. Or, for that matter BA.

Soto was better than Posey in 2010, that doesn't mean that Soto is a better player or that I would rather have Soto. It means that Soto outperformed Posey. Just because Soriano was better than Carl Crawford this year, does that mean that Soriano is better or that I would rather have Soriano? No.

Molina option will be picked up by STL...so he wont be option....

Honestly i go after only 2 FA hard

Fielder 27 y/o 1B

Edwin Jackson 27 y/o SP

Then i would resign A-Ram cause Fielder will need protection. So basically 3 FA

Then NEXT year i go after 2 STUD SP in FA named Hamels and Cain

So in 2013

Hamels
Cain
Garza
Jackson
Cashner

All be under 30 y/o :fap:
No way in hell the Cubs could afford both Cain and Hamels. I also really doubt that either will leave the team they're currently with.

If I could see either of those two pitchers on the Cubs, I'd be ecstatic, especially if that one ended up being Hamels.
