About two months away from the premier of the final season. The only TV I have watched since i was 13 has been sports and I never watched tv shows consistently with the exception being this one. I absolutely fell in love with it. I was wondering what everyone thinks will end up happening? I'd like to see him not get caught and maybe flee miami. I just hope it doesn't end like the Sopranos.

Dexter is cool You should PM spartan the biggest ******fan about dexter ever on all the chicago bears forums.

Have you ever seen "the wire"?

You might like that shit. a tad bit better than Dexter, which is based on a "graphic novel" i.e. comic book for neckbeards.

Can't have the antihero get caught. It just makes for bad TV. Someone new will befriend Dexter, then turn on him. In the end, Dexter wins again and gets off scott free. I wouldn't mind his sister getting knocked off though. Annoying *****.

Unfortunately, I liked Dexter on facebook so I get Dexter shit on my feed. I was reading through the comments and some douche gave away what happens in the final book that was written. Needless to say, I hope they alter it a little because I don't want to see it end like that. I think Hannah will end up getting killed.

I am/was a big fan. Have a pic of myself standing by his apt in Miami.

That being said, the last few seasons have been god awful. I don't think he's gonna get caught.

I agree about the sister... but I do like he one liners... she called a guy a **** puddle once and I spit up my coffee... great show.

Im gonna be sad to see the show end but its time to close the book. In the earlier seasons he moved like a ninja hiding in plain sight and living by the code. Recently hes gotten extremely sloppy. Letting people in on his secret, catching feelings and going against the code.

A lot of people have said that the last few seasons were horrible because of what you just said but I strongly disagree. He was supposed to be non-human, someone that had no emotion and never slipped and was always on top of his game. He's proven he makes mistakes and that he is human. I've found the evolution of his character to be extremely interesting and I think it's helped keep the show fresh each season.

Exactly. It was different when he was on his own but then got married, had the kid and what not. It all clouded his focus. I also like the way his character evolved. Sameness is boring. Then when Hannah told him straight up that killing is killing no matter the code or reason, there he is out in the open with no dark passenger to blame. Every season has been great.

Someone tell me something about Dexter... is it like other crime shows where they solve a different mystery or w/e in every show... or is it something like Breaking Bad or The Walking Dead where it seems like a really long movie?

It's definitely not like another crime show. I used to watch CSI way back when it started. I also watched Without a Trace, Law & Order, etc and all of those got boring and I just stopped watching. Dexter has remained at a high level each season and I think the ratings have even gone up each season. He's a serial killer but he only kills other serial killers, he doesn't pray on the innocent. Essentially he's a vigilante.

I know what it's about, I just didn't know if he killed a new serial killer every show.

Like.. in the beginning of every show, is there a murder, he finds who did it then kills them by the end of the show?

There's normally one big one that he will take out each season but there are also murders that he picks up on the side just to get an easy kill, since he feels he can't live without it.

He use to justify those kills by picking the bad guys who got away. If they had not killed before, they didn't fit the code and thus were off limits. It was never him doing it but the dark passenger inside him. Now he sees there is no real dark passenger or justification so certainly no need for Harry's code.

Yeah I didn't want to say that because I didn't want to ruin anything for anyone that wants to watch the series and hasn't. That being said Vogel is one creepy ***** :shifty: I wonder where Hannah is going to fit in this season

Good start. Took that Dr Evelyn in a diff direction than I thought.

Like that he realized deb was always the one helping him, rather than the other way around.
