15.3 fWAR / 3.89 FIP / 4.00 xFIP (not in love with that).

Worth the money? You can argue no, but I wouldn't call him a bust by any means.

Danks ERA the last 3 season's consist of 4.33, 5.70 & 4.75.

The injury is an excuse. The guy isn't that good. Accept it.

Quintana is already a better pitcher than him & for a hell of alot cheaper.

siera is fine. its >>> fip and xfip. era,whip,and siera should be used in combo

So I never heard of Siera so I looked it up

Anyway, good reason why, it is basically brand new (2010) and they are still calculating the metric out. I like the attempt to it, but I am still going to take ERA over it for now.

I agree on both points. My thing with Danks is that he never got any better after he came onto the scene. He never developed what he needed to develop in terms of a 3rd pitch and never had an out pitch in his resume.

Why? You know we're not going to be good this year, right?

Surkampf, Leesman, and Rienzo should get time starting over some random #5 that you want.

Their growth is very important.
