finally did something with these books that been laying around for almost a decade.. polished one a tad and out da door it goes

so be add da author/illustrator to me resume too.

duh non specking aussie bout to drop a book n start the dr seuss 2.0 pursuit.. me first book be in da amazon up to 72 hour review process...

i dont like how the formatting came out converting to mobi, but itll do fer now.. i may change it if i get too anal about it.. but i be working on mo books.. so meh.. just one in the line..

only gonna be digital now.. amazon do offer hardcover or paperback .. idk..but ill be holding off on dat fer now..

yeah i hope i sell a MILLION books.. but ill take what i can get. After looking back at all my works, that book was the only one that was basically ready to go with minor reworkings. my other go to that i thought was guud.. be straight garbage.. art is okay..its my best character.. the most marketable imo.... but what was i thinking wiff me writing a decade ago.. its as bad as me ccs grammur.. basically gonna be a whole rewrite and redraw.. sucks in a way..

but its good in a sense.. i remember wanting to change my cat to white with black.. instead of mostly black n white.. too much like the cat in the hat color wise... cause dis is my cat in the hat..

rest of the books are filler pieces... nothing special.. well my book called scrambled eggs and spam is a solid 5.2-6/10.. repetitive lazy artwork takes it down a few notches in my book.... but it also may be on the copyright borderline thang a ma jig.. so i may hold on to that until i find out and get sum clarifications on da laws a lil mo..

regardless.. imma do this fer awhile.. especially since i have an easy publishing outlet now... getting sales is another story.. may do 1-2 facebook ad pushes for beautiful me,, but other than that, it needs to be word of mouth.. have some friends n fam who will buy it and help out with initial reviews to get it started out though..

Good for you. I wrote a book once, it wasn't really a book, it was a greeting card, and I didn't really write it, I signed it, but I imagine it's a similar process.

yeah thats basically my book .... da scrambled eggs and spam... i even replaced sam i am with the mostestest original name..... mad ram i am.. but da book was dedicated to da doc...

Wickerkat or something, I tried to use the CCS search function and my computer kicked me in the nuts. He seems like a good guy, PM him if you need advice.

shiieeet you be specking to a pro author... just an unknown pro author... what kind of books does he produce. all my stuff is basically for beginner readers... nothing too technical.. i aint got the skills to go any higher.. not wiffout a ghost writer..... artwork is mo challenging for me at the level im at.. the level ill stay at... i guess having a successful author ears wouldnt hurt if i find myself lost and confused..

i am contacting random house to ask them about scrambled eggs and spam.. just need an edit tomorrow when i wake up and ill send it ova. if they dont have issues and agree wiff me acceptable transformative use assessment.. then gonna try and hit up spam afta for an endorsement... especially when if i could say random house be on board.. i doubt they would be though... they too protective of the dr. and rightfully so

Wickerkat(?) writes Sci-fi, mystery, fantasy? His stuff is way above my pay grade. He is also an editor for a publisher if I recall correctly, so he may have insights from that perspective. Again, I think he is one of the few genuinely nice people around here, if I were you I would look for him. He will show up in the Bears forum between now and the draft, talk to the man.

My wife is a Preschool teacher. I think that an AussieBear written book would do wonders for America's youth. I could probably spare $10 to get it in the classroom even if it is garbage lol.

In my unbiased opinions.. every kid should read this book. it teaches them them meaning of beauty.. at least the aussies view of beauty. guess i need to bug other ppl to buy and get it rolling too.

dont mind the formatting error on a couple of pages if you can even notice them... idk y i had issues with pdf to mobi file conversions.. hmm maybe i should look at the actually pdfs... anyway.. im reworking em so i can do a paperback version.. the ebook version doesn't really matter as much since its a set size... i wish kindle had a dynamic feature in them and their app that would scale to screen correctly. a couple of ppl i know dont ebook and want paper so i gotta make sure the format is spotless when sent to print...

thanks again. only 4 million more to sale before i can move to colorado. if i hit it big in the kiddie book game.. i will make sure to send you an autographed copy one day.

i know whos not buying my books.. the people who suppose to be close (not fam).. like im a crab in a bucket full of dreamless fucks..

its all good though.. i got that aussie rage going internally.. that flickering turning into a gd blaze.. started rewriting that cat character.. going in a completely different direction.. good thing for the 10 year lay off... trying to write three books at once, but ill settle for two with him. got the rough outlines of two in me head.. just running through a rough draft on paper of the first one. only at page 11.. but that includes rough sketches as well.. but itll only be about 30 pages long.. thats the good thang about childrens books.

worst case.. i self publish 6-7 books and then seek out an agent to try and take me n those books to the next level. if me shit any good that is.... i got rejected by random house a decade ago.. part of me still wants random house..
