Yeah, Section 8 was condensed into 2 sections, and many of the regulars didn't show up. People were not only disinterested in the game itself (well, the opponent, really), they were concerned about the events that have happened at several other international 'friendlies' where brawls and other crap has happened. I can't vouch for the play on the field, but I can say that in the stands it was a calm affair and actually had the atmosphere of a friendly. That was cool.
It was what we like to call an 'away game at home' where the opposition fans outnumber the home fans. S8 was not loud, and the Chiva-fans were DEFINITELY louder for good stretches of the match....there were just about 10,000 more of them than Fire fans, let alone Section 8 folks.
