Still not quite sure about keeping Pace. If Fox is running the show, then Pace was an ineffective leader and let him take over. How do we know what talent PAce has brought in? For all we know it was Fox.

I forget which one is which, but one of the guys from 670 in the afternoon just said that their source told them that Pace was told to hire Fox, even though Pace wanted someone else. If that's the case, it's hard to put blame on Pace if he's following orders.

Pair a rookie QB with a rookie head coach. If it doesn't work out, GET RID OF THEM ALL!

Although, I wasn't excited with the hire in the first place, I thought that MAYBE John Fox would get us back to a respectable level. Then when he got fired, we could bring in someone... smart. But this shit is looking bleak as fuck. We'll likely be 1-7 going into the bye, with the easiest schedule in the league lololol.

Oh man, this is NOT how I imagined this season would go. F... M... L...

Respectability was what I was expecting.

Wow, a Fire John Fox thread? This place is getting better. Yeah no chit fire John Fox, anyone who actually liked that move in the first place, congratulate yourself on your own epic stupidity.

The funniest post on this thread must be windycity telling us he's "been saying it for weeks" like he's some kind of football soothsayer. Telling everyone 18months ago Fox is a joke, that might've been useful. Now? Just stating the patently F'ing obvious.

I wish firing Fox was all they had to do to get this sorry franchise back on its feet. But the problems go way deeper than that don't they.

I saw the Fox hire like I see a lot of Pace's moves, I understood it but didn't like it.

I thought Denver was stupid for hiring Fox after all those terrible Carolina years. I never thought that Fox was anything more than old school grinder HC who was anything but innovative.

So yeah IMO…
Fire Fox
Cut Jay
Hire Shanny2.0 or McDaniels
Draft Kizer or whoever wets that QB whistle
Continue to build the OL and DL

I really don't think we are that far off, if Jeffery is retained (hopefully), from being a playoff team.

He is a sitting duck head coach. You keep him and no one will want to coach under him on a 1 year deal basically.

This would be the perfect week to fire him with a collapse to GB and a long week till Monday Night then a bye. Plus it gives the organization a pass for the shit show vs the Vikings.

Having Matt Barkley in the lineup and the refusal to stick with Howard at RB is a fireable offense.

Ehh, Carey outplayed Howard and what choice did he have other than Barkley. Okay to hate on Fox but not those.

No, they refused to go back to Howard last week and this week. Carey played well today, I give him that but Howard is a very talented back that should be getting more touches.
