Here's the article from ChicagoBreakingSports:
Mighty Manchester United is coming to town. The Fire confirmed Tuesday that they will play the legendary English Premier League power on Saturday, July 23, at Soldier Field.

The game is part of a five-city U.S. tour that includes a July 27 clash with the Major League Soccer All-Stars at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, N.J.

The Tribune reported last week that a July 23 game appeared to be in the works.

MLS confirmed the All-Star date on Monday. League officials and United manager Sir Alex Ferguson were scheduled to discuss the All-Star match and tour later this morning.

United will also play New England on July 13 in Foxborough, Mass., travel to Seattle to play the Sounders on July 20 and battle Barcelona on July 30 in Landover, Md., as part of a new World Football Challenge.

“Bringing United to Chicago helps the Fire continue to expand our reach in one of North America’s premier soccer markets," Fire owner Andrew Hauptman said in a statement. "Our participation in the World Football Challenge gives our players an opportunity to take on one of the most talented clubs on the planet, while galvanizing Chicago’s vast soccer community.”

For Fire full season-ticket holders, the United game will be part their existing package and labeled Bonus Game Two.

United will be visiting Chicago for the second straight year. In 2010, they used Toyota Park as a training base while on a four-game North American Tour, including last year's MLS All Star game.

Sounds really, really cool!

Ya, in Chicago too.

If they ever do play Chelsea, they better play Chelsea Dagger at the field. :)

its just a tune up game for Manchester, but for the Fire and MLS its a really big deal to have the biggest soccer club in town

Think Chi-Fire has tickets since he has Fire season tickets... nit sure if this game is included in that or not though.

yeah, tickets to this game were included in ANY season ticket holder's package.

Typically the Fire play 5 "friendly" matches per season. I'm normally not a fan. it's nice and all, but in the middle of the season is not when I want to see players playing a non-league match that they feel they have to play up for.

Just saw that Ryan Giggs is still playing for ManUre. He's gotta be getting close to retirement.

That's actually a legit point... I never thought of that.
