I thought it would be cool to ask everyone: which podcast you started listening to first?

I actually started with Bullscast (it still saddens me that they have contract issues and can't be here...yet) and then started listening to The Bulls Beat because Nick and Adam were talking about it so much. I found the others after the crossover cast (which was awesome and I think you should do more of those (if possible of course)).

So go ahead and post here which podcast you found first...

The first I can remember is listening to Doug's first podcast which featured Ben B. How many years ago was that now Doug?

Anyway, it's great to see the Bull community continuing to grow.

Well I listened to my own podcast first. I did a few episodes before I even realized there was another Bulls podcast. Then when I found out there were a few more I tried downloading all of those as well.

I more or less tried them in the order of their itunes rating, so after mine I did Bullscast, then Running with the Bulls, then Chicago Bullseye. It was around the off season though, so none of them were doing shows like I was.

I think most Bulls fans get bored in the off season whereas I think of it as the best time of the year for the Bulls. At least up until around mid august to early september where all the FA stuff is done, the draft is done, the summer leagues are done. Then there's not much to talk about, but fortunately training camp opens then the writers start getting lots of news out there.

As for the crossover cast, I think we'd all like to do another one, but it's not that easy of a thing to set up which is why we haven't had one. I'd love to do a few more Bulls Beat Live events too.

Wow I got a response from the great Doug Thonus...

Obviously another full blown crossover cast would be hard to schedule because all of you have lives. But even you hosts appearing on each other's shows would be pretty cool. Regardless all of you do a great job with your podcasts.

Haha, if you post here regularly you'll get a whole lot of responses from me, and the term 'great' will fall off your vocabulary to be replaced by 'that idiot' Doug Thonus.

Adam and Nick were talking to me about coming on the show this past week, and I told them what time I record it, but I didn't see them come on, so I don't know what went down there.

I'll have to email them again and see what's up, it usually takes awhile for them to get back to me via email. Fred and I have also talked about popping on each other's show one of these days, we just need to get it organized.

My schedule has been crazy busy lately though which is what has hurt me from doing more cross-show stuff. It will probably remain that way until the nba draft is over, since I work for draftexpress.com.

Personally I would like to see Nick have a show with Brian and/or Fred. Maybe throw that guest that Mark and Fred had on their show some time ago, Paul Davies or something like that. It would be Kirk fan(s) vs Ben fans in an epic showdown...well maybe not epic but it would be interesting. Maybe even throw yourself in there too with your case for Kirk.

Hmmm this has got me sorta excited now, I'm going to have to ask them to do it XD

The first and only podcast I listened to before 'The Bullsbeat' was 'The Basketball Jones'. In fact, those are the only two I actually listen to now. I've yet to listen to 'Running with the Bulls' and 'The Chicago Bullseye', bar the crossover show that you guys did with Doughnuts.

I stumbled upon Bulls Beat first.. Can't say that I've listened to any of the other podcasts as of yet, but now that they're all in one spot, I'll probably give a listen to the others.

Bullsbeat episode #30 (ish) I believe. Never been a big podcast guy as I typically prefer my opinions be mine completely. The more I listen to the CB and RWB's guys, the more I like them. Hopefully this site/forum will make the off-season bearable for me.

The first podcast I ever listened to was Bears Blitz with Johnny James. Very good show, but he hasn't done it in a while.

Steve Montador may make his return against the New Jersey Devils tomorrow along with Marcus Kruger.

Kruger seems to be a lock in the line-up, while Montador will be traveling with the team he still remains a game-time decision.

Montador has appeared in 51 games this season notching 5 goals and 9 assists. He has not dressed since Feb. 7th against the Colorado Avalanche when he left the game early due to concussion-like symptoms. He has missed 22 straight games, while the team has gone 13-8-1 in his absence.

Meanwhile, Jonathan Toews has still not been cleared for contact but says he's "feeling pretty close" to returning.

Good news. And glad that Krüger has recovered, he might not be a game changer but it's an improvement from what was iced against the Preds.

Bout time he got off his lazy butt, KIDDING! I hope he comes back 100%. This will be a very good D with 2/7, 4/8, and 5/27 or something like that.

Now let's just get Tazer back when the playoffs start and we'll be in business for a good run.
