Hi guys just had such a great experience fishing with Chicago’s beloved Bryan Bickell and even better I captured on film! He’s such a competitor and a trooper. I challenged him to beat the YouTube Smallmouth Bass five fish limit weight. Check it out to see if the champ rose to the occasion! here’s the vid

Nice video, good to see the big man doing well. I've said it before and I'll say it again -- the Hawks don't win the Cup in 2013 without Bickell, he was an utter beast that entire playoffs.

He’s a very competitive and clutch type of guy. Just loves the big moments! He’s doing well but he probably would never let anyone know is he wasn’t. ... a true warrior with such a positive spirit and a great example for so many of us! It was a blessing to get to fish with him. We have that common passion for fishing for sure.

The guy was a beast and a much needed beast at that. Boston had a few guys who were as big n tough as they come and Bicks went toe to toe with all of em physically and outplayed em too.......9gls(only Sharp had more)17pts(only Kane had more)and a +11 in that cup run and only 14pims in the 23gms.
Big fella followed up in 14 with 7 PO goals in 19gms too......only the great Patrick Kane and Jonathan had more.
'15' saw the onset of his illness effect his hand eye skills but it didn't stop him from leading the league in PO hits even though he missed the last four games. The Wild were a confident bunch comin' into the 2nd round against the Hawks that year after beating the 1st place Blues in six games,Bickell's TWENTY FIVE hits in the 1st two games of the series saw the Wild D-men lookin over their shoulder the rest of the way. Maybe the Hawks advance with or without Bicks but his physical play set the tone for the sweep and his physical play went a long way against the Ducks in the WCF too.
I can't see SB gone fast enough for my taste but I'll never rag on him for re-signing Bicks,we saw Big Buff go on to dominate after his breakthrough in '10' and Bicks might have gone on to do the same if he stayed healthy.......especially in the PO's when the ice 'shrinks'.
