He needs an established qb, Bears need a coach who can develop a qb.
Bears need a GM who understands building around the QB.

Worst O-line in the league
Worst WR depth chart in the league
Worst TE depth chart in the league

Fields doesn't stand a chance if this organization doesn't build around him. Doesn't matter if the next HC specializes in offense, defense or making Mcflurry's.

He was the idiot who kept shuffling Tua in and out with Fitzpatrick last year when he'd play poorly. No thank you. Don't want him anywhere near Justin Fields.

You'd have to show proof that you were one of the first which i can't see how you could do but would love to see you try.
If i show you proof, will you never post on CCS ever again under any account?

Think it is the other way around. Flores wanted Herbert not Tua. Hence why he kept benching Tua for Fitz and Tua apparently doesn't get along with Flores.
Yeah it doesn't make sense that he would keep benching Tua if Tua was the guy he wanted. Also the season prior it looked like they were playing their way out of the Tua sweepstakes. Smells like bs.

Not to mention bringing in Brisket this year a good bit on special packages when Tua can actually run a bit himself.

Flores was reportedly the driving force behind Miami wanting to bring Watson in. Maybe that had something to do with them firing him, indicating that he wasn't committed to Tua. That could be a question mark considering we've got a guy in Fields who needs full commitment from the coaching staff.

If Flores wanted Herbert over Tua and Grier disagreed, I think Grier should be the one getting fired here ?

Just saw a tweet that Flores has had 4 OCs and 4 OLCs in 3 seasons. I thought it was two.... That is kind of alarming tbh.
I see it as alarming due to the fact that if Flores was named the next HC of the Bears, he would have to hit on the best OC he could find to develop Fields. He has not shown he could do that with the Phins.

He pretty clearly wasn't on board with the Tua pick, and that likely is what caused the continuing friction between him and the GM.

He was right, Tua was never that great of a prospect imo.

Think Watson had Miami on his list because of Flores. So Watson to Miami probably dead now especially since Mills has shown some promise so Miami building a trade around Tua and draft picks makes no sense now.

I'm shocked he got fired... Dude did a pretty solid job in Miami. If Tua actually played better, they easily would have been a playoff team.

This team TRIED to tank by trading damn near every solid player on their team in 2020, and they STILL finished 10-6.

This year - thanks to injuries, covid, and lack of talent - they started 1-7, but finished 9-8.

I don't get it.

Totally agree

The McFlurry machine is down.

You can't show proof you fucking moron. I know you have a ton of time on your hands but you aren't going through every single thread and every post in every thread looking for people who liked what Flores was doing in Miami. You'd find me in there if you did cause i was one of the first. Lol

Its very important that they ask the right questions during this coaching search. This is something that needs to be explained by Flores.

I'm still surprised after all that's gone on down there. He has a winning record and beat New England 3 out of 4 times.
They started out 1-7 and were contending for a playoff spot.

You don't win 8 of 9 in a row with no idea of who your team is. If he won 8 straight then lost the rest I'd understand.

I thought Denver was too soon with Fangio and I think the Dolphins are worse.

Fangio is a bad HC. He deserved to be fired. Flores, that's a surprise. I'd definitely take him.
