It's not the invention of the flush toilet. Its the advent of anti-microbials and subsequent over use. My educated guess is the average person or at least a subset that goes to the clinic every time they get even a minor sniffle or rash takes antibiotics far more frequently than you. They are the ones at risk.
My take...**** 'em. But as a misanthrope I can say that without any ethical qualms and it's well known I have no morals.
As for antibacterial/antimicrobial stuff...I think i have a bottle of the stiuff that's about 4 years old that I only used/had used the last time I got a tattoo--which makes sense. Other that that I don't use anything like that...i wash my hands with normal soap and use normal diswashing liquid. Believe me, this germophobia is rediculous.
