I hate southern twang. It's annoying... Unless we're talking about the south side of Chicago in this thread, in which case, I hate robberies and murders and stuff. Also annoying.

You can be from the boondocks without being from the south. I grew up in a town with a population of approximately 900 people in northern IL. And there are some places in WY that make the deep south look like cosmopolitan Chicago.

I've lived half my life in the north. Half in the south. I love them both. No need to act high and mighty. Plenty of good and bad spots all over this country no matter what state you live in.

The further south you go in Florida, the more northern it gets. North Florida isn't really any different than southern Alabama and southern Georgia.
