The Bears will be committed to a veteran bridge QB to see if they can catch lightning in a bottle until they have 1st round picks again.
You missed on your Mitch eval, and the Bears know they have zero chance winning a Super Bowl with him.
There’s no way you can trot him out as starter in 2020. You will lose the team.
So your answer for 2020 is a halfway successful veteran QB that will cost way too much in the form of Dalton or Newton or a journeyman who has done nothing like Case Keenum instead of Trubisky?
I will take my chance on Trubisky for another year and draft a QB in 2021.
