Interesting neither of the Penguin games are on TV?

They should all be on TV and the tickets should be FREE or at least half price for fucking games that don't count!

There is, and has never been a discount to STH's for preseason games. It's complete bullshit and always has been.

The real season starts in October. I refuse to attend or watch a preseason game. It's just an extended training camp anyhow with all the new kids starting fights to try and impress their coaches.

There weren't that many fights last year that I can remember. The most notable was Morency coming off the bench to fight Phaneauf after his dirty hit on Okposo. I vaguely remember a couple Blackhawks fights but isn't it usually about the same as regular season?

I like pre-season hockey because it means that the real season is right around the corner (like some people's infatuation with Bears training camp because it means football season is right around the corner) and it's a chance to see your young players get some playing time against tougher opponents.

That's a shame because pre season games are quite interesting. Especially watching the level of where some kids are verses others. The fact they charge full price for them is my only Beef. I don't think I've missed a pre season home game in many years. If I'm paying for them, I'm there!

You didn't watch any of the preseason games in Toews or Kanes rookie year? Really?

You miss out on seeing kids compete for the final spots on a club. With training camp only 2 weeks we're starting to see players get more time during these games.

This was actually a Hawks home game that was moved to Winnipeg.

Lucky for us STH only 3 preseason games this year to pay for.

I just can't get into it - I've tried in the past and just found it painful to go to the UC to watch a game that didn't count. I didn't have any fun and decided it wasn't for me. Now I take the approach of 'figure out your final roster and I'll show up with lots of energy on opening night'.

At least it will be pre-season for them too, let's hope they use the time appropriately to work out the suckage.

Doesn't matter. Those of us outside the immediate Chicago area, including Rockford, do not get to watch WGN broadcasts of said Blackhawks team.

You sure that's not an NHL rule? Going so many miles from the home teams location?
