#Lions free agent pass-rusher Ziggy Ansah, one of the top pass-rushers on the market, has visits set with the #Bills and then the #Saints, sources say. Both quite interested. The physical is important, as he’s recovering from shoulder surgery.

I wonder what he will command. Always someone that I liked watching play.

this serious?

No, Leveon Bell is almost certainly not signing with the bears. The only thing pointing towards that is bears fans wanting it to be true. Honestly the bears signing bell probably wouldn’t be the smartest thing moving forward anyway. I wouldn’t be surprised if they freed up money for Ingram, extensions and depth type signings.

True, not like freeing up 11.1m of cap room signals a possible big deal.

It signals you have slightly more flexibility now when you had almost none.

We still had over 10-13m of cap room before this move.

Now we have 20-25m. We can sign basically anyone we want right now, so yes, that includes Bell.

Guys like Adam Humphries are getting $9 mill. We need some more depth guys and still have roster spots to fill plus we need money for extensions going forward

I'm fully expecting us to not sign Bell.

I would be delighted, but I think it just doesn't make sense financially going forward(Unless its a 3 year deal).

If he somehow signs a heavily guaranteed, 3 year deal, you would at least be able to get out of the contract before trubiskys giant deal.

It does make sense to put extreme playmakers around your young QB. Chance like this doesn't come often I hope pace gets it done
