Yes but ideally you would want re-sign him prior to this season. If the team finally has a legit pass rush this season, then his price tag will go up.

I agree but you can structure it to be backloaded. I was not aware about the signing bonus @remydat, learn something new everyday.

Seahawks add veteran WR Valdes-Scantling

The Seattle Seahawks have agreed to a one-year contract with free agent wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling, a source told ESPN.

The Seahawks are in need of receiving help for new quarterback Sam Darnold after agreeing to trade DK Metcalf to the Pittsburgh Steelers and releasing Tyler Lockett.

In Seattle, Valdes-Scantling will be reunited with Klint Kubiak, the new Seahawks offensive coordinator who was Valdes-Scantling's offensive coordinator last season with the New Orleans Saints.

Sir you were using money as a factor on whether Fries was impact or not. That was your argument not mine. Fries got 88m. Bynum got 60m. The end.
I'd be ok with being wrong about either. Well, less ok with Fries cause he's in the division, but I really don't care if they become great. The original point was nothing about them. But, I see players being a bell curve, where about 70% fall in the middle, and I believe that both those guys will fall firmly there and not in the special category.

Ummmmmm that's a big no on that one.
Of course, that would be contingent upon him being fully recovered from his last concussion. I personally believe the Bears kept him out the remainder of the season because they’re hoping it helps him to completely heal.

The Sports Mockery twit is suggesting he has sources telling him the Bears are interested in signing one of Amari Cooper, Brandin Cooks, or Tyler Lockett.

Any of those guys float your boat for WR3? Would you bring back Allen on a team friendly deal?

Does @JordanSigler have any sources that can verify any of this?
My sources are telling me that Brandon Marshall would love to play as a tight end.

I'm not counting them out of adding a RB to this team in the draft. Some still have them drafting Omarion Hampton at #22.
Interesting I had the Bears possibly trading down to Atlanta at 15 because even with Floyd they need edge or DL help. Then taking Hampton.

That's no how concussion history works. They don't just go away forever. Concussions are not going to magically be a thing of the past for him.
