It’s all trenches which is exactly what they needed to do. You can argue about the value but the time is now to spend. Plus what I really like is they can dump any of these guys who don’t workout for year 4 of Caleb which should be the year they can really go all out before his new deal kicks in.
I personally love the strategy. I’m not smart enough to understand the fit of the players to judge them but I get why they are doing it. That in itself is an improvement over most of the last 40 years or so.

Poles actually positioning Bears to go BPA in the draft at this rate. RB in or before the 2nd round seems like a certainty now, maybe even slot receiver at 72?

If they can just get a WR they basically have every base covered and can draft whatever they want. Kind of unreal. Jeanty is a real possibility now.
