Not sure why you keep laughing at GB's cap and roster management every year. Outside of the Patriots they're probably the best run team in the NFL.

Not sure why you just can't admit a fact and keep on changing the subject all the time....but we are all used to that. The point is they overpaid again. He is a backup NT bust who has been one of the worst in the NFL....and got above vet min.......to the tune of 3.5 mill! Stick to the subject and tell me that is not an atrocious robbery

Yet the packers have better WRs then the Bears, better rb, better oline, and overall a better def (although Thats not hard). Also have a ton of cap space left, at least equal to what bears have left!! Keep on laughing and we will keep smiling!! Btw Raji didn't get 3.5 mil to be the backup, he will be the starter back at his original position which he excelled at early in his career. Did they overpay by a mil or so probably, but I am pretty sure you overpaid a few players this offseason too!

Was gonna stop reading at the better RB comment....lmao. Great stats last year for Lacy haha

Raji...excel...dude....you need to consult your stats a little better. Didn't he go sackless lol for a huge stretch and grade out as one of the worse vs the run also? He's a bust...and you are a bad homer.

Not really. They hit on Aaron Rodgers and then just sit back on their ass and did nothing but resign their average supporting cast. Rodgers is good enough that they should have won multiple championships with.

LOL they're better than the Bears at pretty much every position other than RB.

They probably did overpay. I wish overpaying a NT by a million bucks was the Bears' worst problem.

Yes we are all well aware that the Packers are better than the Bears.

Anyways I was really hoping the Bears would have taken a look at Guion he's etter than Raji and would have been a solid signing at around 2-3m a year.

Played really well his sophomore year at NT then they switched him to 5t and he's been irrelevant and invisible since that TD in the NFCC game.

Ok thank you. I thought he was bad as a NT and good at 5tech. Wasn't sure.

Guion also likes to swerve around on the road with lots of weed, cash and handguns in his car. High character-guy. Too bad we didn't sign him.

Raji was great as NT, excelled early on, pack moved him to DE which is where he struggled and yes was herendous! We will see how he does back at natural position as all signs looked positive until he got hurt in preseason. It's a one year deal, if we overpaid a bit, so what!

In regards to Lacy, the stats are in his favor as a RB and he is on the up swing, not down swing like forte. Forte probably has btr passing stats, but Lacy had good year as well. Forte better career so far, Lacy better back right now! If had the option today, who do you think teams would take, Lacy or forte?

Well aware of his arrest.

Don't really care what he does in his free time honestly he'd be here to play football not mentor my child.

He can't really play football if he's suspended after this arrest and/or gets taken for smoking marijuana. And the fact that he drives around with almost a pound of that stuff tells me, that he's bound to be caught with some in his piss sometime. Unless he changes, of course, which I, taking my Bears-glasses off, really hope for him that he does.

The Packers are better than the Bears. Obviously that is true since the Bears were bad the past few years.

But I am sick of hearing about how they are the class of the NFL because they have only like 5 players that they didn't draft. They have had one of the top 3 QBs in the NFL and might even have the best now with Manning and Brady getting old. Everyone saw what their team looked like when their QB got hurt and they had to put a backup in. Everyone saw what the Patriots did with a backup when their QB got hurt. The Patriots always sign guys in free agency to TEAM friendly deals to try and IMPROVE their team. The Packers play it "safe" with what they have to simply "try again" with the same team. If the Packers were such a well run team, they would act more like the teams that try to evolve their team but at the same time with team friendly prove it deals.

I definitely thought with his recent arrest he'd be signing for much lower. I guess I was envisioning his gtd money over 2years for about 4-5 total.

But yeah he'll definitely be receiving more piss tests now.

It will be interesting how people view Thompson in 3-4 years from now if that lone Super Bowl is still the only one they've been to with Rodgers. There was talk about a dynasty after that first one and how well they were rolling the year after. But with the 49ers out of the picture and Seattle's eventual decline they should have the conference in 2 years for awhile unless St. Louis gets a QB sometime soon. And thankfully for them Andrew Luck plays in the AFC.

Raji has never, at any point in his career, been great at anything football related. You can say he was good for about a year, but dial back the hyperbole before you hurt yourself.

Regarding "If we overpaid a bit, so what?". You do realize these players require US currency? They won't fall for some shitty paper stock that makes you believe you are part of the team.

If lacy and forte were the same age do you honestly think anyone anywhere would take lacy? Lacy may be out of the league in a couple years unless his magic helmet can protect him.

Okay he was good then, feel btr?? So are saying bears didn't overpay anyone this year?? My point is we don't have dead money next year, so if it doesn't workout, doesn't hurt the teams future. Why you so jealous that the team is owned by the community? I don't personally own stock as my money does better in stocks that grow, but to each its own! Not sure why that makes you bitter.

I did say Lacy and Forte now, not forte in his 3rd year. Yes forte was the better back then, but I thought we live in the now, not the past. Right now the Pack have better rb situation. And to another posters point, yes it helps to have rodgers in backfield.

The whole point here is you bring up the bad contracts we have, yet somehow this team still has plenty of cap room year in and year out. Thompson is a draft first guy, keep your own. It got us a Super Bowl in past 5 years, and barring the epic collapse, almost got us another this past year. I think we are doing okay. How has free agency worked for you?

There you go again. You do realize you have a problem when it comes to saying something about another team....like GB for instance. You just can't just say something negative (and truthful) without changing the subject and throwing in the Bears...or Cutler. It's pretty comical. And you meant overpaying by a couple million bucks.

They threw away some good $$. Just curious.....how did the Bears do on the Foster deal in your opinion?
