Waldo's source as I call it reported that the Cubs have had talks with Boston for Fukudome for Scutaro or Cameron. They make about half of Kosuke's money so it would be a straight up deal, saving the Cubs a bit of money.

Yeah thier contracts show that but i bet the Cubs would still have to pay some of Fukudomes salary

Cubs would almost certainly have to eat the difference in salaries. If not more.

No, the Cubs would essentially pay half of Kosuke's salary by paying for Scutaro or Cameron. No money would actually be sent either way.

id do this for one season not a problem at all. get rid of the big contracts thats what we gotta do.
