Game 1 review/Game 2 preview at CCS: Blues doomed to repeat same mistakes against Blackhawks

As you can read in that article above, Blues coach Ken Hitchcock seems convinced that the Blues didn't hit enough in Game 1. But if he's going to sit back in a neutral zone trap like he did in Game 1, and dare the Hawks to find their way through that zone ... then this series just doesn't seem like it's going to last very long, does it? The Blues have the ability to beat the Hawks, but that doesn't seem like the right way. We'll see what happens in Game 2.

I'll update the line combos after the morning skate, because I've got a feeling Mashinter isn't going to suit up for tonight's game after taking a bad penalty in Game 1.

Hitchcock on Tarasenko: "He told us the day he got here about Panarin. At least once a month. ... We all look a little dumb right now."

Well if the Blues want to throw around 70 hits, the Hawks need those big body targets to soap up hits like Svedberg and Mash. You even saw Reeves and Brouwer take runs on them as if that was a big wise tactic.

It's both, I believe. And I'm pretty sure its Doc Emrick on the NBC call, if you're into that type of thing.

Thanks, it's gonna be a tough call which to watch/listen to. Edzo just pisses me off to often during a game.
